One of the Sergeants at Cheshire Police reached out to us seeking our assistance with one of their projects. They had a vision to enhance their tactical training arena, aiming to make it resemble a realistic street setting. This involved the addition of shop front graphics and brick wall graphics to create an immersive training environment.
Upon receiving the request, we promptly visited the training center to conduct a comprehensive site survey. This allowed us to assess the space and gather essential information for the project. Based on our findings, we prepared a detailed quote outlining the scope of work required to transform the training arena into a lifelike street scenario.
Out of all the competitors considered, Cheshire Police selected our company for the project. They expressed their difficulty in finding a single company in the North West region that could handle all aspects of the project under one roof, encompassing design, manufacturing, and installation. Fortunately, we were able to fulfill their requirements and offer a complete solution for their needs.
During the course of the project, we encountered and successfully resolved a few challenges. Initially, we faced uncertainty regarding the selection of suitable materials.
Given the nature of the training center, where the police would simulate scenarios involving the throwing of objects like bricks, we needed to identify a material that could withstand such intense usage while maintaining durability. We dedicated two weeks to trialing different materials until we found the one that met the unique demands of this scenario.
By overcoming these obstacles and delivering the project to Cheshire Police, we were able to provide them with an enhanced training arena that authentically replicated real-life street settings. Our dedication to understanding their needs, conducting thorough site surveys, and sourcing appropriate materials enabled us to meet their expectations and contribute to the improvement of their tactical training program.
